Hourglass Comes To Arsenik Studios!
This past Saturday the studio was full, energy was high, and the Hourglass gals (and guy!) rocked their photoshoot with us! It was a crazy busy and exhausting day for everyone (we shot 21 models and over 100 gigs of images!), but was well worth it for all the amazing shots we ended up with.

Skin Correction In Photoshop: Know Your Tools!
There many different ways to correct skin in Photoshop. Some are quicker, but sometimes tend to yield unrealistic results by over smoothing or flattening skin textures and tones (most Blur filters, if used incorrectly will do this, so be careful). Others take a bit more time, but will create a more believable skin texture, while preserving colours, tones, shadows and highlights. The trick to obtaining believably flawless skin is knowing the right tools, masks and filters to use, how they work and in what order/combination they should be applied.

Branding 101
In this digital day and age the need for instant response and gratification is at its peak. With the ever-emerging social media component to our daily lives, patience is no longer part of the equation. The second something is put out into the social spectrum people expect a response, be it a facebook like, a twitter re-tweeet or a blog comment. This involvement is all great and there is nothing wrong with the constant interaction. However, in order for this social dialogue to be beneficial to a company or an individual there has to be some groundwork laid out and a clear and concise message needs to resonate through all channels.
